One Flesh
Chapter Thirteen
The Sexual Creative Center
and SpiritualizationWithout a doubt, of all the concepts advanced in this book, this third and final purpose for the Sexual Creative Center will be the most controversial. I will never forget the day when I began to broach this subject with a very good friend who was the well-educated, sophisticated eldest son of a very wealthy and influential family. At first his eyes grew large and then, as I continued my dissertation, they narrowed and finally he broke out laughing. "You've got to be kidding," he said. "Sex is the antithesis of everything Spiritual; it appeals only to the lowest emotions and crudest natures of men. I have never heard any thing so ridiculous in all my life as the idea that sex has anything to do with Spirituality." Though we remain friends to this day, I never again attempted to mention this subject within his hearing. I later discovered, whenever he wanted to entertain and amuse his other friends, he would tell them about this man he knew who taught the idiotic concept that one could become Spiritual through sexuality.
This same incredulity has been endemic throughout all human existence. Since man has, almost from the beginning of his existence of this earth, perverted the Sexual Creative Center given to him as one of God's greatest gifts, it is little wonder that he sees nothing Spiritual in its nature. What was the purest of God's gifts has been thrown into the gutter and trampled by both men and women from their earliest history.
As mentioned previously, the real significance of the story of Adam and Eve is as a documentation of how early men and women quickly misused their Sexual Creative Center to the extent that they, and we, their descendants, were removed from the Garden of Eden (a place where all lived in harmony with the Laws of their being). From that time of removal to this day, the saga of mankind has been a constant struggle to regain that lost virtue and purity. The only way this can be done is by reversing man's concept of sexuality and once again giving it the respect and reverence due such a lovingly given power for good and ultimate Spiritualization.
Were I reading this for the first time, I would, at this point, begin to wonder if there is any evidence of this Spiritualization via the Sexual Creative Center, or if Dr. Poesnecker's friend is not right, after all. If what we have to say is true, this information is of paramount importance to all humanity. "Surely in all recorded history, that is, ever since Adam and Eve," you might ask, "there must have been others who understood this connection between Spiritualization and the Sexual Creative Center." Of course, there have been; many have attempted to guide mankind to this understanding, but very cautiously since men, as a whole, did not take kindly to the concept. The very same desires and influences that caused Adam and Eve's expulsion from the Garden of Eden have worked to keep mankind's eyes blind to the teachings of God's many messengers since their "fall."
The Mysteries
Throughout human history the teachings of Spiritualization by use of the Sexual Creative Center has been a vital part of what is usually known as the Mysteries. They were called the Mysteries because they were not to be disclosed to the profane for fear of ridicule and persecution. These Mysteries are documented by Saints Matthew, Luke and Paul in the New Testament. From Saint Matthew and Saint Luke we have this statement from Jesus:
"And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
"He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
"For whosoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
"Therefore speak I to them in parables:
because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
-St. Matthew 13:10-13
"And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?
"And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
-St. Luke 8:9-10
From Saint Paul we discover a slightly different view of the Mysteries, but, again, we find the word "mysteries" used; these Mysteries were well known to the apostles and they well knew that a vital part of these Mysteries was the proper use of the Sexual Creative Center for human Spiritualization.
"Let a man so account of us, as the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God."
-I Corinthians 4:1.
"And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge."
-I Corinthians 13:2.
I am certain we can all agree that Jesus was one of the most loving and compassionate individuals who ever walked this Earth. If this is accepted as truth, then may we not honestly ask, "Why was he so reticent to tell the large majority of his followers the truths that he encompassed under the words "the Mysteries"? Do we not find the answer to this dilemma in Saint Matthew, chapter seven, verse six where the teacher from Nazareth states:
"Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before the swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you."
It does not take much stretch of the imagination to interpolate the fact that the Mysteries were one of these "holy" things and also one of the "pearls" Jesus was talking about and, that, as mentioned before, Spiritualization by use of the Sexual Creative Center was, and is, one of the cornerstones of these ancient Mysteries.
Later on in the chronicle of Saint Matthew, Jesus presented further evidence that even the great prophets of the past realized they could teach the people only that which they would and could accept, not the full truth. In Saint Matthew, chapter nineteen, verses seven and eight we read:
"Wherefore they are no more twain (two), but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?
He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so."
What a marvelous phrase, "the hardness of your hearts." It does not indict, it merely "tells it like it is." Moses knew that the Israelites of his day were not about to comprehend the One Flesh union concept; he knew that their hearts were too hard (too full of lust) to understand or accept the truth and so he taught them what he considered to be the next best thing: the most that their Spiritual development at that time would allow them to accept. Moses knew that any attempt to teach them more would have been "casting pearls before swine."
The Nazarene, trusting that, at least, some Spiritual development had taken place in the Israelites since the days of Moses, was not afraid to teach the truth of the Law concerning the basis of the One Flesh concept. But even he was not about to teach, openly, the Laws of human Spiritualization through the proper use of the Sexual Creative Center. This teaching was still a part of the Mysteries and was only made known to his disciples and those others who had shown that they could be trusted with such teachings.
Spiritualization Today
That was then. What about today? Since Jesus taught truths of the Law that Moses did not feel were appropriate in his time, cannot those, who are knowledgeable of the
Mysteries today, teach more openly that which the Nazarene would not teach to his general listeners in his day? This is a fair question. As one examines mankind today and compares its men and women with those who lived in the first century, can we really say that they have advanced Spiritually all that much?
On the other hand, if we look closely, we can see that there are more good people in the world today than ever before; it's just that the less good make so much "noise" that they drown out the voices of the worthy. However, it is for this "worthy group" that this book is written and while it is not possible for us, in such a public work, to reveal the whole of the Mysteries, we can, at least, give you a quick glimpse "under the veil" and provide information to those who may desire to put forth a dedicated effort to unravel the full complement of the Mysteries mentioned in Scripture.
Purity is the Price of Power
That which we present here has been handed down from time immemorial. There are, however, certain highlights and important personages along the way of the development of this great wisdom and we will present a few of the most important in "modern" (from the middle ages on) history.
Paracelsus, the great mystic and physician, was one of the first men to make known some of the Mysteries relative to the Sexual Creative Center. His life's work was added to and made more practical by Dr. Asgill in a treatise known as Asgill's Rules, A Physician's Legacy to Mankind.
The next shining star in this exalted firmament is Dr. Paschal Beverly Randolph. He was one of our most brilliant stars and one who wrote more on this subject than any other knowledgeable author before or since. He wrote for two worlds, the world of the common man and the world of those who had been initiated into the Mysteries. Many of his books for the common man are still available today.*

However, at this time, it is only those texts that Dr. Randolph wrote exclusively for Initiates that we shall address here. Over one hundred and fifty years ago, Dr. Randolph was initiated into the Mysteries of a little known (even to this day) Syrian Priesthood. There he was taught The Ansaireth Mysteries, one of the most advanced teachings on the use of the Sexual Creative Center for Spiritualization known to any group of Initiates. During his extensive travels Dr. Randolph was welcomed and initiated into many other Mysteries and brought them all back to the United States and made them a part of his teachings to those who were willing to first prepare themselves for such teachings by their efforts to overcome all adverse feelings and emotions within their being.
One of the keynotes of his teachings of the Mysteries was his statement, "Purity is the price of power." Dr. Randolph's work was continued by Dr. R. Swinburne Clymer, who, like his predecessor, also wrote several books for the general public on this subject. The most important of these are Race Regeneration and Prenatal Culture.·
Early in his career, Dr. Clymer also wrote Divine Alchemy, a classic on this subject for those in the inner work. Divine Alchemy is a compilation of all the information gathered by Dr. Randolph and other the custodians of the Mysteries relating to Spiritualization by utilization of the Sexual
Creative Center. Due to the sensitive nature of its content, it is not available to the general public, but is offered, for a lifetime loan, to those who are enrolled in one of the courses that instruct in the way of life according to the Mysteries.*

In 1976, under the auspices of Emerson Clymer, Dr. Clymer's son, your author had the privilege of producing a book entitled Creative Sex.* This work was an attempt to offer a new scientific view of human sexuality that took into consideration the One Flesh union concept. This present work is an expansion of that work and the works of both Dr. Randolph and Dr. Clymer.

The Process of Spiritualization
While the process of Spiritualization by the use of the Sexual Creative Center is simple, it is, as Dr. Clymer often said, "not easy." For those who are truly in earnest to learn and practice this royal road to all the good things that Earth and Heaven have to offer, we recommend that you write to the address given below so that you will be able to avail yourself of a personal instructor and guide. The way to Spiritualization via the Sexual Creative Center is not difficult with such assistance, but it is almost impossible without such guidance.
For those of you who would like to make better use of your sexuality, but who may not now be interested in the Mysteries, we are allowed to give a few hints that may be of some help:
1. The Breath of God practice taught you in the previous chapter can be used to create
Spiritualization as well if the thoughts are so directed. Instead of sending the Breath of God throughout your body to "heal and strengthen" you may send it to sublimate all the adverse feelings and passions within.
2. When you use the Breath of God for this purpose you must also TRY your best to change these feelings within you for those of a more exalted nature. Remember, God helps only those who help themselves.
3. There must be harmony between the husband and the wife during this practice or all is to no avail. You cannot create harmony without, unless you first have it within yourself and within your marriage.
There you have it. The Laws of the Sexual Creative Center. There is no greater gift that anyone can give you, but, like all such gifts, it is only as good as the use to which you put it.
