One Flesh
Chapter Two
The Key
If information about the constructive and exalted uses of the magical force we call human sexual creativity has been available for centuries, why has it not been taught to mankind previously? The truth is, of course, that many spiritual leaders ever since man first possessed a rational mind, have attempted to instruct him in the proper use of human sexuality. The problem was, and is, that mankind, as a whole, would not, and will not, listen to such instruction. The majority, then and now, did not want to hear that their lustful desires and perverse sexual habits might not be to their own ultimate best interest. Remember the words of the Nazarene, "because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand."-Matthew 13:13. The vast majority of the Nazarene's listeners did not accept what he had to say on this subject because he advanced a concept that did not appeal to them. He taught the Laws of Personal Responsibility and personal sexual integrity, a teaching that was not popular then and is not popular now.
As mentioned previously, it is always easier for the uncultured to tear apart a lovely piece of furniture and throw it into the fire to feel the immediate warmth, than to take the time, the energy and the thoughtful reflection to contemplate the beauties of the woodwork, the finish, the elegant form or the nature of the great creative genius that constructed such lovely, esthetic curves and angles.
By attempting to satisfying our desire for instant gratification, we invariably miss the true beauty and real value of the object of our attention. So is it with our sexual nature. Mankind, as a whole, is usually looking for simple, easy answers to complex subjects and sexual activity, no matter how crudely or brutally carried out, usually produces an enjoyable physical pleasure. Many say, "Why ask for more? Is this not enough?" This book, with its ancient sexual teachings, is not written for those of this mind or temperament. They will have to make their way through life as best they can. We trust that as greater understanding comes to them through the natural processes of time, suffering, pain and the wisdom that comes only with the feeling of regret when one realizes, all too late, what has been missed, that they will begin to "bethink themselves" and make efforts to establish the One Flesh concepts in their lives.
While it is obvious that we live in a decadent society, I still believe there are more intelligent, understanding and loving people who are willing to accept and use this information on the exalted nature of the Sexual Creative Center than at any other time in world history. For these this book is written, and, we trust, they will put it to good use.
Admittedly, the majority of mankind will undoubtedly continue to misuse and misunderstand their sexual creative function for many centuries to come. The allure of quick gratification (irrespective of the consequences) is too strong to be easily reversed and the temptation to "go along with the crowd" is ever present. For centuries to come, only the few will be willing to put forth the necessary effort to discover or create something better in their lives; this is especially true in the field of exalted sexuality.
Therefore, this book is for the one in a hundred or, more likely, the one in a thousand who is not satisfied with human sexuality as it is generally taught either by the Church or by seductive modern sexual psychologists. For this rather rare person, we lay forth a fascinating, glorious and creative alternative. To this individual we offer wisdom that has been passed down since the earliest days of man-the true understanding and purpose of man's Sexual Creative Center. Does this seem that we are not giving the mass of our people enough credit? To paraphrase the Apostle Paul, "Let us reason together a moment."
Several years ago, the Surgeon General of the United States made the unequivocal statement that "cigarette smoking is dangerous to your health." It causes a large variety of serious problems, not the least of which is that truly heinous destroyer of mankind-cancer. Every advertisement for cigarettes, in this country, and every package of cigarettes sold in this country, must carry this warning, so no one who smokes can validly state that he or she has not been warned clearly and pointedly of the specific dangers of smoking. Despite the Surgeon General's warning, and all the new evidence of the destructive nature of smoking, cigarettes are still sold by the billions in this country every year. Considering these facts, can we honestly assume that the great majority in our country is responsible, that they are able to exert proper self control in their lives, or that they truly seem to desire much beyond their own immediate pleasure?
On this same subject a new report that states more and more homosexuals are having "unprotected sex" despite the constant danger of HIV infection. The reason given by the Gay community for this conduct is: "It heightens the sexual excitement to realize that you may be signing your death warrant by each such an encounter."
While it may be some time before the majority of our nation is able to accept the full One Flesh concepts, there are encouraging reports of their increasing willingness to accept personal responsibility. Recent statistics show that smoking is becoming less prevalent and that more and more individuals are heeding the Surgeon General's warnings. This bodes well for the future. It may very well be that this book and its teachings will have a more salubrious effect on society than we had at first thought. As the playwright William Shakespeare said so well, "'tis a consummation devoutly to be wished."
But these are thoughts of the future; we are now concerned with the individual of today. We are concerned with you. You can be helped here and now if you are willing. Each of you has the ability to wake up tomorrow morning, look at yourself in the mirror and say to yourself, "Look at you. What are you doing? You're killing yourself bit by bit by your bad habits and unworthy appetites. You are created in the image of God himself and what are you doing with His gift?"
Following such a self-appraisal, you, and only you, can decide to make the needed changes. As a busy practicing physician I realize that these changes are occurring more frequently today than in years passed. Personal responsibility is no longer a "dirty" word. If, through education, an individual can learn and apply the truth to correct his smoking habit, may this not also occur with exalted sex? Perhaps this is too much to ask for in the near future, but as our citizens, one by one, come to learn and apply the truths presented here, they will be able change the nation. In time exalted sex may well become a desired goal for all, just as now freedom from nicotine is a nationally accepted (but often unattained) goal. We trust that with this book we will be able to help to establish the God-ordained exalted use of human sexuality as a known desirable goal, a goal obtainable by all who will follow its recommendations, apply its principles and learn to live in their truth.
The Mystery of Sex Explained
That which follows is to be considered a "pearl of great price." It is a master secret of the ages. It describes man's original downfall and what is essential to raise him first to manhood and then to godhood status. Those who knew and protected this secret in medieval days were often burned at the stake or tortured to death. Many an imperial potentate of old would have been willing to give his empire for this secret; please treat it with the respect it deserves. You may not soon again have the opportunity to learn so much of real value in so few pages of text as that which follows.
The Nature of the Human Creative Force
The Sexual Creative Center, as taught, from the beginning of time, by those of true understanding and wisdom who always had in their hearts the goal of mankind's advancement, has three constructive, God-blessed purposes. These may be stated succinctly as follows:
1. Generation (Procreation) - The creation of a new human body to be a dwelling place for an immortal soul in the image of God, our Creator.
2. Regeneration (Health Creation) - The utilization of the creative sexual energy for sustaining, rebuilding and perfecting the physical, mental and emotional structures and natures of both husband and wife.
3. Spiritualization (Immortality) - While the regeneration process can advance and perfect all our earthly objectives, including those of the body, mind and emotions, it is left to the Spiritualization function of the Sexual
Creative Center to bring about the ultimate potential from this most sacred gift of the Creator. The forces resident in this Sexual Creative Center, when directed in a specific persistent fashion, are powerful enough to bring about the immortalization of the only lasting part of our being-our soul-a small flaming spark from the Godhead Himself!
Yes, this Sexual Creative Center in man (and woman) is far more powerful and important than anything dreamed of by 99.9 percent of the world's population. Even after thousands of years of human development and scientific investigation, ignorance still reigns supreme in this field. In no other field of human endeavor is so little common sense applied and so much blindness accepted as wisdom.
These three objectives, particularly the third, are what today's youth might call "pretty heavy." I could not agree with them more. It is precisely because of this "heaviness" of their nature that the full understanding of these three facets of sexual creativity has been so unceremoniously ignored throughout the ages. It is not that the principles themselves are so complicated, but, rather, that their application requires a discipline, determination and sensitivity which all may develop, but which very few are ready and willing to attempt.
The majority of mankind is plagued by a set of strange paradoxical desires. They hope to extract as many blessings from existence as possible, while, at the same time, exerting as little personal involvement or responsibility as practical. Yet, despite this surface desire, deep within every responsible being is the subconscious awareness that nothing of eternal value can be obtained without commensurate effort and sacrifice. We "know" there is something better, finer, more constructive than that which we now understand, but our own physical and emotional fears and weaknesses constantly prevent us from seeking or discovering this better "way." Scripture, in its Divine succinctness, said it much better than we can: "The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
In general, many of mankind's professed objectives are to be applauded; but unfortunately man's attempted implementation of these objectives is frequently deplorable. Despite this, every intelligent person inwardly knows (and fears) that somewhere, sometime, he will be held accountable for all his actions and the results thereof. The thrust of desire (particularly sexual-the mother of all other desires), however, is so great that he continues on his destructive path unabated. This paradox, this discrepancy between his subconscious personal moral evaluation and his eventual actions is the cause for much of the guilt and anxiety that overshadows modern man.
Psychologists and psychiatrists recognize this and attempt to correct it by convincing their patient that his guilt is not real and that his actions are not injurious even though his poor misunderstood conscience tells him otherwise. This type of treatment is like attempting to assure a drowning man he can breathe under water instead of pulling him from the depths.
There is only one way humanity can be pulled from its present muck of depression, guilt, anxiety, aggression, depravity, crime, greed and basic inhumanity, and that is to understand and accept the Biblical Law of, "Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" and then to live our lives so as to cause neither harm nor injury to ourselves nor to our fellow creatures. This Law applies particularly to all that is related to human sexuality.
To be truly effective and productive, however, such a life must not be a negative one of simply avoiding injury; it must be based on constructive and creative principles so that the individual is able to develop as many of the hidden "talents" within himself as possible directed toward the improvement of self, his fellowman and all Creation.
One of the most neglected, misunderstood and abused of these talents is the creative (sexual) force. It is in a sincere effort to correct this deficiency that this book is presented. Its purpose is not to preach the abusive or destructive nature of sex misused, but rather to teach a dynamic creative form of sex life that provides ecstasy without anxiety, progeny without perplexity, matrimony without hypocrisy and sanctity without pomposity.
The Three Great Principles
1. Reproduction
Reproduction is the most obvious and easily understood use of human sexuality. It is nature's first priority regarding our sexual activity and is the one function of sex we share in common with all our animal brethren. That use of sex for this purpose is not only allowed, but commanded, by God, can easily be verified in Genesis, chapter 1, verse 28, where "God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth." It is true, of course, that we have now reached that point in our history when the Earth has been replenished and there is even some question whether it is over replenished. This I cannot deny, and while sex for reproduction is still a very important and vital subject, it can easily be argued that it may not be best for us to use sex without some restraints for further reproduction. Few would argue the wisdom of constructively limiting our population at this time so that the best possible use of our natural resources and land may be made.
While reproduction is the most universally accepted and understood use of human sexuality, it has an importance and potential far beyond that usually ascribed to it. It is possible to establish a new, more highly evolved state of being on Earth through the constructive use of conception and procreation. If we accept the teachings of Scripture as truth, then the concept "as ye sow so, shall ye surely reap" can be shown to assure that a human seed sown in love, and with a sense of sanctity for the Creator of all, will surely reap a child that will possess those same qualities that went into his creation and his in-womb nurture. Of course, if the sowing and nurturing were performed in more unfortunate circumstances, the blessing from Heaven might prove less than desired.
Nothing in creation happens by chance. All actions must come under the functioning laws established by God in the beginning. We know from the study of physics that if the balance of positive and negative charges in the universe were disturbed, even slightly, a chain reaction would occur that would destroy all that we know. Astronomy tells us that each star and celestial body follows an exact plottable path and that any deviation is unthinkable. All Nature follows exact, immutable laws. Do we really think that man is an exception?
The world is in the state it is because this is the world that we, the human race, have created by our own thoughts and efforts. To regenerate this world we must give birth to a new race-a people born and nurtured in love and wisdom. This can be done only with the aid of the reproductive or generative force of human sexuality. This is the only way to human race regeneration and is the fountainhead of all permanent advancement for civilization.*
*The process by which this is accomplished is presented in Chapters 10 and 11 of this text and in the book, Prenatal Culture; Creating the Perfect Baby, by the Philosophical Publishing Company, P.O. Box 220, Quakertown, PA 18951.
2. Regeneration
Within the intricate structures we call men and women are powers and abilities little used or even imagined by those in whom they reside. One of the most potent of all these abilities is the regenerative force of their Sexual Creative Centers. The nature of this energy and its proper utilization has been one of the foremost subjects of mythological and religious teachings in all civilized nations, though admittedly it was usually presented in an allegorical or veiled form.
Our own Bible is rife with references relating to this force. The disciples of Christ were well indoctrinated with its theory and use, but unfortunately when the early Church was politicized by Constantine the Great in the third century A.D. this teaching was lost to later Christians due to the insensitivity and vulgarity of the men put in charge of the new "state" religion.
Fortunately, the methods and techniques of human sexual Regeneration did survive Constantine's purge of wisdom that he could not understand, although this survival was mainly in the form of the "jargon" used by various secret societies of the Middle Ages. Had these methods and procedures been taught openly at that time, the teachers would have been quickly "silenced" by the Church. For then, as now, men always try to destroy that which they do not understand and which they feel might jeopardize their own authority.
It is through misinformation and the suppression of the truth that the Church has held its adherents in sexual bondage for centuries. The Church is right to fear the effect that real knowledge of the human Sexual Creative Center would have on their authority. Once we understand the true potential of this Creative Center, we no longer have need of an interceding Church to assure our immortality. It is little wonder that the Church opposes such power in the hands of the people. Fortunately, the power of the Church today, at least in this country, is no longer sufficiently strong to create the Medieval need for secrecy of the Sexual Creative Center and so the ancient principles of sexual regeneration may now be taught openly to all who are willing to "see and hear."
The Law of Sexual Exchange
There is within the Sexual Creative Centers of both men and women a resident power and energy that can be exchanged during the sexual union to build and strengthen the physical, mental and emotional natures of each of the participants. This Divine force is not automatically exchanged in its fullest extent, but must be consciously directed to exert its greatest potential. Where love exists between the participants in the sex act and the sexual fluids of the man and woman are allowed to intermingle naturally, there will be a certain exchange and utilization of these forces even in the uninitiated. The effect will be weak, however, in comparison to that generated by knowledgeable, consciously and deliberately directed effort.
In St. Matthew, chapter 19, verses 5 and 6, Jesus says, "For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and they twain shall be one flesh. Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh." All of us who are familiar with the Bible have undoubtedly read the phrase several times and yet do we really comprehend the full significance of its meaning? Should we consider it only as poetry, or should we accept that, perhaps, Jesus meant, in essence, exactly what he said? That when a man and woman come together, not only to live together, but to actually join their bodies in the fulfillment of the Regenerative Sexual Union, might they not really become one flesh-one functioning unit?
In the proper use of the sexual regenerative ability, as described above, is it not conceivable that the hormonal and vibratory exchanges between husband and wife will eventually make of them one mentally and one emotionally functional unit? Is it not even conceivable that these exchanges have the power of turning this twain, these two, into one-a strong, potent, constructive force; one functioning unit. As Jesus himself said, "What therefore God hath joined, let no man put asunder." One can only attempt to "put asunder" that which is inextricably intertwined-One Flesh.
It is not within the capability of my talents to express the true significance of Sexual Regeneration. It is only within the heart and imagination of my readers that a true understanding of this Divine potential can take root. Wiser men than I have taught that almost all of the destructive attitudes and weakening diseases rampant among mankind today stem originally from the misuse or perverted use of the Sexual Creative Center. They also categorically state that these can be eliminated and prevented only by the proper and constructive use of the tremendous potentials in this selfsame Sexual Creative Center. This energy is within every normal human being. Only by utilizing it for constructive purposes during the natural sex union is man, in this sphere, fulfilling his purpose and the will of God. All such efforts will be rewarded by salubrious benefits that will boggle the mind; were I to attempt to detail even a few of the least here, you would think that I greatly exaggerate.
The complete physical mechanics that underlie regeneration will be described in a later chapter, but the basics can be presented here. There are within the sexual fluids excreted by a husband during ejaculation, and the vaginal secretions of a loving wife properly aroused, various little known substances that are vital to the physical and emotional stability of each other. It is as if the husband and wife were each poles of a battery and their fluids were the electrolyte that allowed the energy of the battery to be produced. It is essential that nothing in the sexual activity prevents this fluid exchange from taking place in the vagina. Without the exchange of these fluids in their proper environment, no Regeneration can take place any more than a battery can function without its electrolyte.
If the above were all that is required for sexually creative Regeneration its benefits would be much more common, but, unfortunately for many, much more is required to obtain the full potential inherent in the process. Besides the essential physical fluid exchange an ethereal fluid exchange that must take place as well. This exchange is nothing more nor less than the mingling of the vibrations generated by the heartfelt emotions of the couple during their act of love.
Science has recently demonstrated that human emotions can affect plants at some distance, causing them to wilt or shrink from a person displaying anger or hate. If the vibrations of these emotions are so real as to affect the plant kingdom, think of what they can do to the nervous system of a sensitive man or woman locked in the sexual embrace! A hundred years ago, when Dr. P. B. Randolph expressed these same views, he was nearly laughed out of the medical profession, but who today can say he has not had the last laugh?
When the sex union is engaged in by those who do not love, but are animated only by lust, a sense of duty or the hope of a physical gain, there can be little Regeneration. When two humans come together in God's holy sexual creative union without the dazzling vibrations of love encompassing each body, degeneration not regeneration takes place. All vibrations, other than love, each to its own degree, unbalance and disorient the nervous and hormonal systems of the participants. Is this too strong a statement? Let's examine the case. From our previously mentioned plant experiments it has been shown that strong adverse emotions can cause a plant to withdraw, showing a retreat from an inimical force (the vibrations of hate, anger, etc.). This did not happen when the emotions were only feigned, showing that the adverse vibrations were formed from the true feeling in the heart and not the false physical thunder and lightning. If, as so often happens, the marriage act is carried out by one in lust and the other out of duty, the emotions involved cannot be the most constructive. He is filled with his own selfish desires and she only with disgust, for through previous disenchantment she now stays only for security and wishes he would forget all about the bedroom scene. Can the mingling of these vibrations do anything but worsen the whole situation until both are nervous and physical wrecks? Couples like these consult me almost daily and rarely do they realize the real problems or are willing to face and correct them once they are pointed out.
But what of the effects of hate and anger? Indeed, in time, will not her apathy turn to hate, the smoldering hatred known as resentment, the worst nerve and body destroyer known to man? On his part, her lack of sexual response and disgust, which often take the outward manifestation of constant nagging and sarcasm, will eventually produce anger in him and he may soon use the sexual act as a way to punish her for her shrewishness. A nice picture, isn't it? But doesn't it seem all too familiar? The disharmonious vibrations of such a union will destroy the finest qualities of both husband and wife in a few short years.
But, you may ask, what about the couple who, as is now often stated, "just wish to enjoy each other's bodies?" Where is the harm or danger? They may not love each other, but they don't hate or resent one another either. Can there be harm in this? To answer this, let me again quote Jesus from Matthew 6:24. "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." One cannot enter into an act so fraught with emotion-producing potential as sexual intercourse without some strong feelings manifesting. If it is not love, it could be greed, selfishness, or simple lust (a desire to only allay one's needs with no thought of the other person involved) usually followed by guilt and remorse except in the most crude or unfeeling individual. As Jesus said, one will either love or hate. If you continue to go through a sexual relationship with a person you do not love, your feelings will eventually turn to hate or some other equally destructive emotion, for such a strong force as is resident in the Sexual Creative Center knows no middle ground in real men and women.
Under the laws of the One Flesh concept, there is no such thing as a "one night stand." The nature of the One Flesh principle is such that every time a man or woman has a sexual relationship, this principle begins to function automatically and the vibrations of each of the participating individuals are taken into the body of the other. Here they will reside for a long time-some say forever. They may well function as a computer "virus" or, more accurately, a "worm" which can work its way into many vital body functions in time and affect all for either good or bad depending on the nature of the original vibrations of the "infecting" partner. As you can see, the consequences of this concept are not only far-reaching, but are a fact of life that must be considered before any sexual union. If you only look about you, you can see many events in your life, or in the lives of others you know, that suddenly become much clearer by understanding this working of the human Sexual Creative Center. Our Creator designed a marvelous sexual mechanism by which a married couple is able to gradually become one constructive creative unit for the good of both and the benefit of all mankind. If we misuse this marvelous ability who is to blame? Certainly not God, who gave it to us as one of His greatest gifts.
There are those, of course, whose nervous systems are so weakened by drugs, alcohol or heredity that they cannot manifest a strong vibration in any sphere. These are what I term emotional vampires. They can only sap the energy of those who cohabit with them. Their vibrations are so weak that they are not able to exchange constructively with anyone. If these are encountered, they are to be avoided. If a man, they may well cause the degeneration of all good and pure women who take pity on them. If a woman is such an emotional vampire, she can, and will, destroy any good man who is so weak or so foolish as to come under her spell.
Sexual Regeneration Summation
There is much more to the nature and technique of sexual Regeneration, but the foregoing gives the fundamentals and the details will be considered later. Let it suffice to state for now that this creative force is generated by an exchange of physical fluids and a reinforcement of beneficial vibratory activity during the sexual union. As this force is generated, it can be directed to one or the other or both partners to strengthen or rebuild any portion of physical or emotional nature. This force, when consciously directed, may create Regeneration via the Sexual Creative Center. This force and its potentials are unknown and undreamt of by the vast majority of mankind.
3. Spiritualization
Under the foregoing discussion of sexual Regeneration we have learned that there is within the creative abilities and forces of man the power to rebuild the body, mind and emotional nature of both parties who participate in the sex act. While this proposition is in itself both revolutionary and mind-expanding to the average person's concept of sexuality, nevertheless there is another use of the Sexual Creative Center that goes far beyond even that of Regeneration. This is the use of the Sexual Creative Center for Spiritualization which eventually leads to human immortality. This is the ultimate purpose for which the Sexual Creative Center can be used on the plane of human existence. In this method, the forces in the Sexual Creative Center are used for the true Spiritualization of mankind. That is, they are used to help men and women toward their own perfection, and in this way they can work toward the ultimate that Jesus commanded in Matthew 5:48: "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect." It was this same teaching that Moses attempted to give to the Israelites when he held up the serpent before them. The elevated serpent has always been symbolic of the exalted use of the Sexual Creative Center. The serpent crawling on its belly the symbol of degenerate sexuality.
Moses soon realized that the most important need of his people was for instructions to correct their sexual depravity. The first several books of the Old Testament are devoted to his efforts in this direction. Moses was trained in the wisdom of Egypt and knew well that unless his people could bring their sexual nature into control, they could not, and never would be able to, bring about the Spiritual Regeneration he sought for them. At the foundation of all authentic religious teachings is the direct parallel between human exalted sexuality and human Spirituality. The two are nearly synonymous. You cannot have one without the other. We must all hold the serpent of sexual regeneration high or forget about human Spirituality.
The wise men of ancient times always taught that there was within this sexual creative energy of man the ability to become a god if he would but direct it in the right manner. Unfortunately, few religious leaders today are taught the truth or the proper use of this great force. This sad situation has occurred because the guardians of the early Christian Church, through their own greed and ignorance, lost the key to this most sublime of all religious teachings. With the key lost, it was necessary for them to find a substitute in order to continue their power over the people. This substitute was the teaching of vicarious atonement, a teaching never taught by the early Christians, Jesus or any of his disciples, but a teaching seemingly inserted into the Christian Church by the Machiavellian desires of power hungry men for their own aggrandizement.
The original Christian teachings taught the necessary techniques for the perfecting of the human being and the conscious immortalization of the soul. One of the most vital steps in this procedure could be carried out only by the constructive use of the Sexual Creative Center. Without the proper understanding and utilization of this teaching, Christianity became only a hollow shell fit for solace and feeding self-righteousness but devoid of its original intended glorifying purpose.*
*This does not mean that we feel that the orthodox Christian religion, as it is practiced today, is not a valuable addition to civilization or that those who hold to its basic tenets are not dedicated and devout individuals. However, there was a time when the Church had as an indisputable doctrine that the Earth was the center of the Universe. We now all realize that even the prayers, devotions and dedication of all its adherents could not make this tenet a fact and so the Church had to relent it view. We have no doubt that it will also, of necessity, eventually have to relent on many of its present doctrines that are not based on the other Laws of the God.
Fractured portions of the doctrine of spiritualization through sex have been preserved from more enlightened times in various western and eastern religious teaching.
Unfortunately, sufficient understanding of the doctrine has not been preserved by any of the large, well-known groups to be of constructive use to its adherents. Interestingly enough, different portions of this eternal wisdom have been preserved by the separate cultures, each, apparently, according to its own inherent temperament. In the West some of the "letter of the law" has been perpetuated by the Roman Catholic Church in its persistent opposition to any form of mechanical birth control. Unfortunately, the original purpose behind this teaching has been lost since the early days of this Church and so this admonition now appears to most intelligent persons as an anachronism or poorly veiled attempt on the part of this Church to increase its membership through the process of procreation. The real purpose, however, as taught herein, was to assure the proper fluid exchange during intercourse.
In the Far East, on the other hand, there are many groups which describe the process of "unfolding the lotus" within us. This is nothing more or less than the Spiritualization of the individual by the constructive use of the sexual forces of the "loins." One may even see illustrations of masters in the meditating position with the sexual and other spiritual centers clearly marked and a line showing the progress of the energy. Despite this outward show of wisdom, it takes but a short discussion with any Eastern guru to quickly discover that the true modus operandi of accomplishing that which they promise has been long lost. No modern day Eastern teaching that I have encountered, and I have made a concerted effort to investigate most of them, has any true understanding of the physical requirements of sexual Spiritualization. In the East much is promised, but little of lasting value is delivered. In the West some of the physical laws of sexual deification are preserved, but the Spiritualization process inherent in the Sexual Creative Center is not only ignored, but often seemingly abhorred. In the East the letter of the law has been lost, but some of the spirit has survived; in the West some of the letter has remained, but the greater part of the spirit of the law lies trodden underfoot.
If this process is so important to all man's earthly hopes and aspirations, why was it lost? How could the guardians of the various churches and religions forget or misplace such a supremely vital teaching? The answer is the same for both the East and the West; only its circumstances are different. This wisdom was lost because the large majority of men and women are still governed more by the desires of their lower nature than by those qualities that lead to Godly activities. Seemingly, in the East, those to whom this teaching was entrusted were not able to control their lustful desires toward unnatural sexual outlets, since this is the part of the doctrine long lost to Eastern culture. This is not meant as a condemnation of the East, but only as an observation from obvious fact. The explicit perverted sexual acts carved in stone on temples centuries ago in India give unimpeachable silent proof that it has been a very long time since the truth of sexual regeneration and Spiritualization has been known to these nations. While this same sexual exploitation also occurred in
Western religions, it was not so openly promulgated as in the East and so, in the West, the main destroyer of the truth was the equally damaging emotion of greed. As the early Church developed, those with a desire for power and personal aggrandizement saw in her a base for this power. Through their machinations, the real disciples of Christ were dispossessed, and men bent on running the Church for their own purposes were installed. Many of the most vital, but fragile, concepts (because they depended on a pure heart for comprehension) of the Church were lost to the general populace at that time; among them, of course, that most delicate of all, Spiritualization by proper use of the Sexual Creative Center. In later years, men of better intentions have at times led the Christian Church, but they were incapable of resurrecting the vital sexual teachings because the key was lost to them. They were, and are, the "blind attempting to leading the blind."
The teachings of Spiritualization by use of the Sexual Creative Center are like a beautiful flower in full bloom. Great care and love must be exerted to preserve its nature and once it is cast down and trampled, little can be done to bring back its former glory.
More flowers can be grown from its seeds, however, and that is what must be done. While this flower was destroyed by early Church leaders, the seeds of the flower were preserved by some of the faithful. When "the truth" and the Church parted company, many of those who were knowledgeable left the formal organization to keep the sexual teachings alive in small but effective organizations. From the time of the early Church until today, this wisdom has been preserved and taught to those desiring to fulfill their ultimate purpose on Earth.
It is not the purpose of this book to instruct in the complete methods of Spiritualization via the Sexual Creative Center. As proscribed from antiquity, sexual Spiritualization can be successfully taught only in a one-to-one relationship, that of a single student and a single teacher. The path to this objective must be completely individualized as did Jesus with the instruction of his disciples. While the man from Nazareth taught these methods to his disciples, he did not teach them to the people who came to hear him preach, because he knew they would not understand or accept them. When his disciples commented on the fact that Jesus did not speak plainly to the people as he did to them, he replied with two key phrases, "Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given," and "Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you."
Spiritualization by use of the Sexual Creative Center was one of the most important of the mysteries and one of the greatest of the pearls and was then, as now, reserved only for those sufficiently pure of heart and dedicated of purpose to endure the discipline necessary for its culmination.
Two methods were, and are, taught, one for the single person, and a slightly different method for those who are married. The single technique requires greater personal self- control and discipline, while the procedure for those married tests fully one's ability to work in harmony with a loving mate to achieve a glorious objective.
To those readers who wish more information about sexual Spiritualization the author will be pleased to answer any correspondence sent to him. The basic requirements for Spiritualization are the same as those for sexual Regeneration, so any who can accept and apply successfully the principles of Regeneration, as taught in this text, should be able to achieve Spiritualization if their desire leads them in this direction.*
